as Billy Weber
Luke Pennington (Billy Weber) was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana
and attended Indiana University where he majored in Theatre Arts. Leaving
home three years ago he's found a new life in Los Angeles where he
works consistently as an actor in both film and theatre. Inhabiting
a myriad of different characters Luke has played everything from
a strung out homeless addict in 'Spinning,' to the brokenhearted,
busted toothed, and preyed upon Johnny in 'Intoxicated Demons,' (official
selection: Los Angeles International, Lake County Chicago, and
A.O.F. Film Festivals), and, here, the mentally challenged, yet,
absolutely self-sufficient and rightfully optimistic Billy in 'An
American Vampire in America.' On stage, some of his favorite
roles include Loafer in 'Poor Folks Pleasure' and Megs in 'Strange
Snow.' He's currently in rehearsals and production with
Lame Dog Theatre, of which he is co-founder, in the Los Angeles area. |

as Mitchell Carter
With starring roles in over 25 stage productions, and 15 films, Warren
Draper was very comfortable playing the role of Mitchell, owner of
a local supermarket in American Vampire. Having grown up in
Los Angeles, his family ran local markets in the Southern California
area. Represented by Horizon One Talent, film work has included
lead roles in such films as Gunplay, Death Row, Dan Doll, Virtual Girl,
State of Mind, The Losers Lounge, recently The Affair, and the indie
feature Tomorrow is Today, with Vampire co-star Mark Hefti, and Scoutt
Taylor Compton. "I really was amazed by the work of the whole
cast and crew of Vampire. Nick Tuckers instincts, along with
a great atmosphere on the set, made the shoot a complete joy" says
the veteran who looks forward to the release and future projects working
for Mr. Tucker. |

as Lionel Sherman
Gary Robbins (Lionel Sherman) is debuting in his first feature film.
Gary has a theatre background where he has been a Director, Actor
and Lighting Designer over the past 20 years. His Directing credits
include, "Stanton's Garage", "Rashomon" and "Awake
and Sing!" while his acting has taken him from the dramatic
as Preacher Haggler in "Dark of the Moon" to the comic
as Jules in "My Three Angels". Gary is looking forward
to continuing his induction into the world of film and is anxiously
awaiting that next opportunity.

Writer / Director / Producer / Editor
This is the second feature by director Nick Tucker, who
also wrote, produced,
and even helped to edit the project. His first feature film, Fandom, was
featured in numerous film festivals and won Best Picture and Best Director
at the 2004 DIY Film Festival.
Nick's passion for film and storytelling drew him to the Academy of Art University
in San Francisco where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in motion
picture and television production. Nick's enthusiasm for filmmaking is self-evident:
by the end of his senior year in film school he had already produced and directed
an award-winning feature film independently of
the school. His love of good storytelling and character development has been
a major influence on the way he undertakes projects, and he has developed a
unique and flexible approach to feature film production.

Cinematographer / Editor
Lucas Abel shot and cut An American Vampire
in America, but it's fair to say that his vision and craft influenced
every aspect of the production. Lucas
is a native of Northern California and a graduate of San Francisco's
Academy of Art University. Aside from his artistry, Lucas brings
an incredible work ethic and unique perspective to the set. He
is universally renowned for his resourcefulness and problem-solving,
as well as for his unique sense of humor.
Lucas is also a director, and has directed
several short films as well as numerous commercials and documentaries.

Writer / Producer
Quan Phan is a shadowy loner from realms beyond the
sphere of human comprehension. His legacy is one of mystery, and so it
shall remain.
